A family with young children was chased by cheetahs after they got out of their car at a Dutch safari park.

The family of five can be seen running back to their car as the cheetahs leap at them. The tourists filming the video are clearly in distress and can be heard screaming ‘no, no, no’ as they follow the car. A woman can be seen running with a toddler in her arms as the cheetahs chase them (Picture: Viral Hog) The big cats can be seen coming from every side of the car (Picture: Viral Hog) Sylvia de Graaf, who said she witnessed the incident on Monday, said: ‘The French family gets out of the car at least two times and seem completely unaware of the danger they are in.’ Sylvia said the family’s grandmother grabbed a three-year-old toddler as the big cats rushed towards him. She added that it was a ‘miracle’ that they managed to escape without a scratch. Park manager Niels de Wildt told Dutch radio station NOS that the family had been ‘incredibly lucky’.
